Recently, Robot is becoming established as human familiar existence. Home appliances and automobiles is thought of as becoming like Robot, because these have various sensors, not to mention computers. We think that important technology in Robots is hardware, control and sensing technique.

In our Lab, we study about robotics based on sensing information processing and percept.

Autonomous control of Hand/Arm Robot

Human hands are excellent organs which have both the function as actuators for manipulating objects to dexterity, and the function as sensing device for recognizing touching objects.

    Recently, remote control robots is being carried out in remote area and dangerous area.In such a remote work, it is possible to enhance affinity with humans by using a Hand/Arm Robot which imitates a human hand.In our lab, we study for improving operability of remote control for Hand/Arm Robot.
