GPU-Accelerated Boundary Element Method
We have developed GPU-accelerated BEM for simulating fluid-structure interaction problems under Stokes flow regime (Matsunaga et al, J Biomech Sci Eng, 2014; Matsunaga et al, J Fluid Mech, 2016).
Overshoot phenomenon
A capsule shows an overshoot phenomenon in oscillatory shear flow, where the maximum deformation is larger than that in steady shear flow (Matsunaga et al, J Fluid Mech, 2015).
Viscosity reduction in bimodal capsule suspensions
We have a suspension of small capsules, and another suspension of large capsules. We then mix these two suspensions. How does the viscosity of new suspension change? (Ito et al, Phys Rev Fluids, 2019).
