Digital holographic microscopy

3D imaging of living cell

Digital holographic microscopy (DHM) is expected to open new 3D imaging systems for industry and biological applications because the quantitative analysis of amplitude and phase objects in 3D field is possible. Up to now, there are many articles that applied DHM to the living cell imaging. We have been developing multimodal DHM such as phase-contrast imaging and fluorescence imaging for evaluating the function of the living cell.
